Max Trierweiler | Co-founder
Max Trierweiler is a co-owner of The Mitten Brewing Company and was a driving force behind the creation of Mitten Foundation, Inc. Since opening The Mitten in Grand Rapids in 2012, Max has believed that the brewery should be more than a place for great beer and pizza—it should be a resource for the community around it.
That philosophy helped lead to the creation of Mitten Foundation, which harnesses the resources and reach of The Mitten to support organizations and causes making a difference throughout West Michigan. When he’s not at The Mitten, Max enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their two kids, following baseball, and finding an excuse to be outside.

Dana together with Co-founders Chris and Max, began Mitten Foundation and has been committed to giving to the WestSide community since the foundation received nonprofit status in 2016.
When she isn’t slinging sponsorships for the foundation events, she’s spending time with her family, or doting on her precious cats.
