Chris Andrus is the founder of Mitten Foundation, Inc. and co-founder and co-owner of The Mitten Brewing Company.

Chris and his business partner, Max Trierweiler, opened The Mitten Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids in 2012 with the belief that a small business should give back to the community that supports it. What began as a commitment to their neighborhood has since grown into more than $500,000 in donations to local nonprofits and community organizations across Michigan.

Chris founded Mitten Foundation, Inc. to carry that work forward and expand its impact. He believes small businesses can be a powerful force for good, bringing people together, strengthening neighborhoods, and helping communities take care of their own.

He is also the author of Dough Nation: How Pizza (And Small Businesses) Can Change the World, which tells the story behind that philosophy and the lessons learned along the way.
